Country Pavilion Builders: National and Group Pavilions at Trade Shows

A country pavilion is a group stand where a trade body, export agency or delegation presents several companies from one country or region under a shared identity. Standsbay designs and builds pavilions for organisers and delegations, from a shared frame with individual company counters to fully branded pavilions with separate meeting spaces.

What Does a Country Pavilion Builder Do?

A pavilion builder plans the whole group footprint, not one company's stand. That includes the shared branding and entrance, the allocation of space to each participant, common meeting and hospitality areas, and the technical work (electrics, lighting, flooring, graphics) done once across the full area.

Who Commissions Pavilions

Pavilions are normally commissioned by an export promotion body, chamber of commerce, ministry or industry association on behalf of its member companies. The buyer often works with a procurement process, a fixed participant list and a hard submission deadline for the organiser. If you manage a pavilion, tell us the confirmed area, participant count and the tender or approval stages you must follow.

What We Plan in a Pavilion

  • the overall footprint, entrance and sightlines from the main aisle
  • individual company allocations with their own name panel and counter
  • shared meeting rooms, a hospitality point and storage
  • consistent branding, graphics and lighting across all participants
  • shipping, installation and dismantling for the full area

Because participants join at different times, we agree how late changes to a company's name panel or position will be handled before production starts.

Pavilion Design Before You Commit

We prepare a 3D concept of the full pavilion so the delegation, its members and the organiser can review the layout together, then build to that approved design. For pavilions at larger events, the build also follows the organiser's exhibitor manual and stand-approval process.

01What is a country pavilion at a trade show?

A country pavilion is a group stand where an export agency, trade body or delegation presents several companies from one country or region under a shared identity.

02Who usually commissions a pavilion?

Typically an export promotion body, chamber of commerce, ministry or industry association acting for its member companies, often through a procurement or tender process.

03What does a pavilion builder handle?

Overall layout and branding, each company's allocation, shared meeting and hospitality areas, technical work such as electrics and lighting, and shipping, installation and dismantling for the whole area.

04What do you need to quote a pavilion?

The confirmed area and hall, number of participants and their needs, branding guidelines, the organiser's exhibitor manual and the submission deadlines you must meet.

05Can participants be added after the design is approved?

Usually yes, but we agree beforehand how late changes to name panels or positions are handled so production is not delayed.
